The last major broadcast before Aniimo launches on 16 September. We break down what is already confirmed, what the stream is expected to add, and the three things that actually matter for day-one players.

Aniimo Launch Livestream: Everything the Broadcast Is Expected to Reveal

Aniimo is three weeks out. Pawprint Studio's creature-collection open-world RPG launches free-to-play on 16 September 2026 at 10:00 (UTC+8) across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, the Epic Games Store, the Microsoft Store, iOS and Android — and today's official livestream is the last scheduled beat before that date.

If you are arriving here from the stream, this is the short version: the release date, the platform list and the two paid pre-order packs are already confirmed. What the broadcast is expected to add is the detail underneath them — the launch banner, the day-one event structure, the pre-registration reward tiers, and how much of the closed-beta systems survived into the shipping build.

What is already confirmed

Before speculating about the stream, it is worth being precise about the ground already covered by official announcements. These are not rumours:

  • Release date and time. 16 September 2026, 10:00 UTC+8, simultaneous global launch.
  • Platforms. PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam / Epic / Microsoft Store, plus iOS and Android.
  • Business model. Free-to-play with gacha monetisation. Nothing is behind a paywall at the entry point.
  • Cross-play and cross-progression. Confirmed across platforms, tied to a unified account identity.
  • Pre-order packs. An Advanced Edition at $9.99 and a Collector's Edition at $19.99, both purely additive bundles rather than access tiers.

The Advanced pack's headline item is a Companion Handbook-exclusive Prismana Aniimo Egg that hatches with Perfect Potential, alongside an exclusive evolution material for branching evolution. The Collector's pack adds a doll and an avatar frame on top. PlayStation pre-orders additionally carry a Fluffy Friend accessory. Full breakdown in our Pre-Order Q&A.

The three things worth watching for

1. The launch banner and the day-one gacha structure

Aniimo's roster is unusual for a gacha in that the majority of it is catchable. Aniimo are captured in the field with Aniipods, not exclusively pulled. That leaves an open question the stream is well placed to answer: what exactly is on the launch banner, and what does it give you that the world does not?

The closed beta pointed toward eggs, Prismana variants and Potential grades as the premium axis rather than raw roster access — a model closer to "roll for quality" than "roll for the character". If the broadcast confirms that shape, it materially changes how a day-one player should spend. We will not put numbers on rates until they are published; anything circulating before then is a guess.

2. Pre-registration milestones and launch rewards

Global pre-registration has been running for months. Milestone-based reward tiers are the standard pattern for a launch of this size, and a pre-launch stream is where those are normally cashed in. Watch for the reward list itself, when it lands in your mailbox, and how long the claim window stays open — the last point is the one that catches returning players out.

3. How much of the closed-beta system stack shipped

This is the one that matters most for anyone planning a build. The closed beta exposed a genuinely dense systems layer:

  • Twining — transforming into a captured Aniimo to borrow its traversal and combat kit.
  • Multi-branch evolution across the Lumin → Gamma → Nova stages.
  • Resonance training from level 20 to 60, consuming three tiers of Astranites.
  • Potential grades and MBTI-style trait axes that push individual stats.
  • Regional forms on 57 confirmed Aniimo lines, each with its own element and habitat.
  • Prismana rainbow-weather variants gated behind leyline flow.
  • Homeland farming, automation and the Hatchinator.
  • Egg Heist, a three-player PvPvE raid with a Diamond difficulty tier.

Beta builds get trimmed. Any of those could have been simplified, delayed to a post-launch patch, or folded into another system. A stream that walks the shipping UI is the cheapest way to find out which.

What this means if you are starting on day one

Three weeks is enough time to arrive prepared rather than improvising. Our recommendation, in order:

  1. Sort account linking before launch day, not during it. Cross-progression only protects the account you actually linked. See the Pre-Order Q&A.
  2. Learn the capture and Twining loop conceptually. It is the mechanic everything else hangs off. Our Beginner Guide covers the first few hours.
  3. Read the breeding layer early. The Hatchinator, egg labels and Potential grades are where long-term account power actually comes from — not from the first Nova-stage creature you happen to catch. Start with the tier list to see which Aniimo justify the investment.

Live coverage

We are updating this page as the broadcast runs, and every confirmed announcement will be folded into the relevant section of the site rather than left stranded in a news post — new Aniimo go straight into the Aniilog, ranking changes into the tier list, and squad implications into Best Teams.

Nothing on this page marked "expected" is a confirmed announcement. Where the game has not published a number, we write TBD and leave it there.

When is the Aniimo launch livestream?

The pre-launch broadcast runs on 25 August 2026 and is the last scheduled beat before Aniimo releases on 16 September 2026 at 10:00 UTC+8. It airs on the official Aniimo YouTube and Twitch channels.

What is the Aniimo livestream expected to reveal?

The most likely subjects are the launch banner and day-one gacha structure, pre-registration milestone rewards and their claim window, and confirmation of which closed-beta systems — Twining, multi-branch evolution, Resonance training, Prismana, Homeland and Egg Heist — shipped in the release build.

What is already confirmed about Aniimo before the stream?

The 16 September 2026 release date at 10:00 UTC+8, the platform list (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic, Microsoft Store, iOS, Android), free-to-play with gacha monetisation, cross-play and cross-progression, and two optional pre-order packs at $9.99 and $19.99.

Do I need to watch the livestream to claim rewards?

Reward delivery mechanics have not been announced and are TBD. Historically, milestone and stream rewards arrive in the in-game mailbox with a limited claim window, so the safe assumption is to check your mailbox early rather than late.
