Aniimo Element Chart

Nine elements, three damage bands. A favourable matchup deals 1.6×, an unfavourable one 0.625×, everything else is 1× — so the right element is worth about two and a half times the wrong one. Pick an element below to see what it beats and what beats it.

Net coverage counts how many elements a given one hits for 1.6× minus how many resist it. It is an offence-only read — a wide element with three Aniimo in the roster is less useful in practice than a narrow one with twenty.

Aniidex
FireFire9 Aniimo

Fire Aniimo are the aggressive end of the roster. Their abilities are weather-sensitive — rain has been confirmed to weaken Fire abilities in the field, so when and where you fight matters as much as what you bring.

Beats Grass, Ice · loses to Water, Dark

Top stats: Inferlupa, Magmarex, Infergon

WaterWater19 Aniimo

Water Aniimo dominate coastal and deep-sea habitats and hold much of the roster’s healing. They pair naturally with Fire-heavy zones, where the elemental counter runs in your favour.

Beats Fire, Earth · loses to Grass, Lightning, Ice

Top stats: Coraliz, Glameep, Panpanta

GrassGrass16 Aniimo

Grass Aniimo cluster in the forest and meadow regions of Idyll. The element leans toward control and sustain, with several Break units built to lock enemies in place.

Beats Water, Earth · loses to Fire, Wind, Dark

Top stats: Tuckin, Glameep, Shrubclaw

LightningLightning10 Aniimo

Lightning Aniimo are the fastest-acting element in the roster, with a support core built around the Bulbly line and a punchy DPS branch. Storm weather states are their natural habitat.

Beats Water, Wind · loses to Earth, Ice

Top stats: Luminelle, Dazmand, Blazen

EarthEarth16 Aniimo

Earth Aniimo are the tanks and blockers of Idyll. Underground and rocky habitats are where the line concentrates, and its Break units are among the sturdiest in the game.

Beats Lightning, Ice · loses to Water, Grass

Top stats: Coraliz, Minespine, Magmarex

WindWind14 Aniimo

Wind Aniimo carry most of the roster’s traversal value. Twining into a Wind unit is often the fastest way across Idyll, which is why the element appears in almost every exploration loadout.

Beats Grass, Dark · loses to Lightning, Light

Top stats: Helgon, Tubster, Somniwing

DarkDark12 Aniimo

Dark Aniimo are nocturnal spawns — several only appear at night, which makes them some of the trickiest entries to complete in the Aniilog. The element skews toward DPS and debuff utility.

Beats Fire, Grass, Light · loses to Wind, Light

Top stats: Inferlupa, Rookey, Witchin

IceIce9 Aniimo

Ice Aniimo lock enemies down. The element is built around slowing and freezing, which makes it a natural partner for slow-charging DPS units that need their target to stay still.

Beats Water, Lightning · loses to Fire, Earth

Top stats: Wavwal, Geoclaw, Malevsera

LightLight2 Aniimo

Light is the smallest element in the Aniilog, and its entries sit outside the numbered sequence. Expect this roster to expand — treat the current list as a floor, not a ceiling.

Beats Wind, Dark · loses to Dark

Top stats: Helion, Fennelun

What are the nine Aniimo elements?

Fire, Water, Grass, Lightning, Earth, Wind, Dark, Ice and Light. Every Aniimo carries at least one; a small number carry two, which gives them coverage single-element units do not have.

How much damage does an element advantage give in Aniimo?

A favourable matchup deals 1.6× damage and an unfavourable one 0.625×. There is no middle band — every pairing is 1.6×, 1× or 0.625×, so bringing the right element is worth roughly two and a half times bringing the wrong one.

Which element is strongest in Aniimo?

On raw coverage, Dark hits 3 elements for 1.6× while only 2 resist it. That is offence only — how many Aniimo of that element you actually have, and their combat role, matters more in practice.

Does the element chart work both ways?

Not always. The chart is directional: read it attacker → defender. Dark and Light do counter each other mutually, but most pairings are one-sided — Ice deals 1.6× to Wind, for instance, while Wind deals only 1× back.
