Answer · Aniimo
Is Aniimo a gacha game?
Yes
Yes. Aniimo is free-to-play with gacha monetisation. What sets it apart from most of the genre is the axis: the closed beta pointed toward eggs, Prismana variants and Potential grades as the premium layer, which is closer to rolling for quality than rolling for the character itself.

Free-to-play, with gacha
Aniimo is free to download on every platform and monetises through gacha. Nothing is behind a paywall at the entry point — the two pre-order packs, at $9.99 and $19.99, are additive bundles rather than access tiers.
What you actually roll for is the interesting part
Most creature-collection gacha games sell the creature: the banner unit is the product, and free players are locked out of the roster. The closed beta pointed somewhere else. The premium axis appeared to sit on eggs, Prismana variants and Potential grades — that is, on the quality of what you own rather than on whether you own it at all.
If that holds at launch, the practical difference is real. A free player would build the same 224-entry Aniilog as a paying one and lose ground on Potential bands and Prismana variants instead of on roster access. That is a meaningfully gentler shape than the genre norm, and it is why the tier list ranks on base stats and says openly that it is provisional.
Every number is still unpublished
This is where most sites start inventing. Pull rates, pity thresholds, egg drop rates, Diamond-tier Egg Heist drops, banner rotation length, the names and pricing of the premium currencies — none of it has been published by Pawprint Studio. Any page quoting a specific rate for Aniimo today made it up.
Those values sit as TBD across this site and will be filled in from official disclosure or in-game data after launch, with the source named. The editorial policy covers why.
Is it pay-to-win?
Unanswerable in good faith before launch, and worth saying so plainly. The answer depends entirely on the unpublished numbers above — how steep the Potential bands are, how much a Prismana variant actually shifts, and how generous the free currency income is. Ask again in late September.

Is Aniimo free to play?
Yes. Aniimo is free-to-play on PS5, Xbox, PC and mobile. The two pre-order packs are optional bundles and do not gate access to the game.
What are the Aniimo gacha rates?
TBD. Pawprint Studio has not published pull rates or pity thresholds. Any site listing specific Aniimo rates before launch is inventing them.
Is Aniimo pay-to-win?
Not answerable yet. It depends on the unpublished Potential band deltas, Prismana impact and free currency income. The beta suggested the premium layer sits on quality rather than roster access, which is gentler than most of the genre.
Do you have to pay to get every Aniimo?
TBD, but the beta pointed toward eggs and Potential grades as the premium axis rather than roster access, which would mean free players can complete the Aniilog and compete on quality instead.
